About Me    

Hello! My name is Rachel. I have a deep, lifelong love for people of all stages of life and a passion for forming genuine connections.

My professional background is rooted in communication and care—after graduating from the University of Florida with a Master’s degree in Speech Therapy, I worked as a speech therapist at Lockmar Elementary. Shortly after, I made the intentional decision to step away from my career to stay home and raise my four children, a rewarding journey that spanned nearly two decades.

When I began deciding how I wanted to re-enter the workforce a year ago, I spent a lot of time considering what path would feel most meaningful to me. At the top of that list was true human connection—the kind that comes from being fully present with people and making a tangible, positive difference in their day-to-day lives.

To feed my love for variety and staying active, I balance a few meaningful roles:

• Two days a week, I work at a local hotel, where I absolutely love greeting and connecting with travelers from all over the world.

• During the school year, I enjoy staying connected with the kids in our community by substitute teaching students of all ages.

When I’m not working or spending time with my kids, you’ll likely find me outside. If there are no waves—sunrise walks, bike riding, yoga, skateboarding, and yard work (I love mowing my lawn!) fill the void. But if there are waves, you’ll find me in the ocean. I am a mediocre surfer with Olympic-level enthusiasm, and launching this independent care giving business allows me the beautiful flexibility to structure my schedule around time with my children,  the swells, the tides, and my love for supporting families in our community.
